Quick answers to questions you may have

You can wear comfortable clothing to your appointment. During the massage, you will undress to your level of comfort (many clients undress fully or keep underwear on). You will always be draped with a sheet, with only the area being worked on exposed.

Massage shouldn’t be painful. Some discomfort during deep tissue or therapeutic work is normal—especially if you have tight muscles or trigger points—but you should always be able to breathe and relax. Communicate with your therapist about pressure at any time.

  • For general wellness: once a month

  • For stress, pain, or injury: weekly or biweekly

  • For athletes or chronic issues: custom schedule based on your body’s needs

Avoid eating a heavy meal right before your session. A light snack is fine. Being too full can make lying down uncomfortable.
